Numbers of days not coinciding with the rates table will be charged pro-rata. i.e. 3 weeks will be charged at 1.5 x the 2-week rate; occupancy of less than a week will be charged at the daily rate or the weekly rate, whichever works out best for you. One month maximum stay.
Prices include the cleaning, linen, electricity/water/gas/erratic WIFI connection/household assistant.
We ask for a security deposit of $500 for Cactus Pad and $250 for an apartment payable with the remainder of the rent and refunded within 2 weeks after your departure.
For all reservations, the arrival time is 12.00 hrs and departure before 09.00 hrs.
Terms and conditions for reservations
Payments for reservations made to us imply that you agree to the conditions and terms stated below:
1.Reservations.
1.1 Reservations can be made in writing via e-mail. Reservations are only binding upon receipt of 50% of the total rent within 2 weeks of making your reservation.
1.2 The remainder of the amount must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. If you make your reservation less than 6 weeks in advance, the amount of rent must be paid in full as soon as possible in order to confirm your booking.
1.3 The terms of cancellation (item 1.1) will apply to the amounts already paid in advance, and will not be reimbursed.
2.Terms of cancellation.
2.1 Cancellations must be done in writing by e-mail to: cactuspad@galapagosexperience.co.uk. After receipt, Galapagos Experience will confirm the cancellation.
2.2 For cancellations up to 6 weeks before the date of arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
2.3 The full amount will be charged for cancellations less than 6 weeks before date of arrival.
2.4 Cancellation insurance is not included in the rent and should be arranged for individually.
3.Responsibilities of occupants and deposit.
3.1 During your stay in one of the properties of Galapagos Experience, you are fully liable for the house you have rented, including furnishings and all the items that belong to the house. Damage caused by the occupants/fellow travelers/guests must be paid immediately and in full to the proprietor.
3.2 We ask for a security deposit of USD 500,oo for the House and USD 250,oo per apartment, payable with the remainder of the rent and returned upon your departure if the house as in reasonable condition (requiring no more than a couple of hours cleaning or restoration after being vacated). If excess work is necessary, the return of the deposit will occur when costs of restoration have been confirmed.
3.3 Accommodations must be left in the condition in which it was found. Any excess necessary work in restoring the house to its original condition will be paid for out of the deposit.
4.Responsibility of Galapagos Experience.
4.1 Galapagos Experience cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, damage or injury, of all kinds, caused to or by tenants.
5. Other rules
5.1 The maximum capacity of the accommodation must be respected. It is mentioned on our website. By over-running this number of persons or not previously arranging it, the rental agreement is considered breached and entrance to the house is refused.
5.2 Pets are not allowed. 5.3 Noise by the occupants of a Galapagos Experience property that is above an acceptable level for this residential area during the hours of 11pm and 7am will result in the property having to be vacated by the occupants. 5.4 No smoking is allowed inside the house.
